Margaret Gardiner

Margaret’s work originates in use and function, be it for food, plants ,flowers or light.She trained in domestic salt glaze using white stoneware clay and now works mainly in porcelain. She throws, slab-builds, extrudes and slip-casts then vapour glazes the work with both salt and soda. On the cooling cycle it is fumed with stannous chloride to create random areas of lustrous iridescence. She is a Selected member of CPA, Anglian Potters and Craft & Design, and a full member of the Society of Designer Craftsmen.
