Kirsty originates from York. She studied Ceramics at Brighton Art College and then in Japan. With a delicate style of throwing Kirsty has created a unique collection of studio porcelain and tableware. Each piece contains an element of spontaneity and individuality, with refined throwing lines combined with the incidental marks of the glazing technique. Her bronze lustre rim pieces are fired three times with creamy gloss glaze and striking lustre rim detail. Her tableware pieces have their origin in the simplicity of Oribe and Japanese ceramic forms, with gloss glaze and a beautiful copper rim.
